Encharge Email Activity in HubSpot

The HubSpot native integration allows you to view all of your Encharge email activity (for both broadcasts and emails in Flows) in the activity feed of your HubSpot contacts.

To view that activity, go to any contact page in HubSpot, and under the Activity tab, click on "Filter activity". Then, select "Encharge":

With this filter on, you can view Encharge email activity:

We display the following types of email activity:

  • Email received/delivered
  • Email opened
  • Email clicked
  • Email replied
  • Email blocked (a soft bounce)
  • Reported spam
  • Unsubscribed

Each email activity block contains the following information:

  • Name of the email received/opened, etc., with a direct link to the email in Encharge.
  • Name of the flow (if applicable) with a direct link to the flow in Encharge.
  • Subject line of the email.
  • Link to the contact/person in Encharge with a direct link.
  • "Open Email Template" link - a preview of the email that opens in a pop-up in HubSpot (example screenshot below).

Build HubSpot lists using Encharge email activity

You can build active HubSpot lists using the Encharge email activity. To do that go to Contacts → Lists → Create list. Create a new contact-based active list. Then add a new filter, and select the Encharge filter. Then "Encharge email event properties". Then choose one of the possible filters:

  • Clicked Link URL
  • Email Name - the name of the email in Encharge
  • Email Subject
  • Encharge Broadcast ID
  • Encharge Broadcast Name
  • Encharge Email ID
  • Encharge Flow ID
  • Encharge Flow Name
  • Encharge Person ID
  • Event Type - opened, clicked, etc.
  • Occurred
  • Timestamp

Once you select the filter, you'd be able to see all of your HubSpot contacts that satisfy this condition.

Note that you can combine multiple filters. In the example below we've built an active list of all contacts that have opened an Encharge email. You can learn more about creating and using HubSpot lists in the article on the HubSpot knowledge base.
