# Action - Add Tag

This action step adds one or multiple [tags](//help.encharge.io/article/96-tags) to a person.

To set up the step, select one or multiple tags from the searchable dropdown:

To remove a tag from the selection, simply click on the X next to the tag.

Then, click on Save.

To use this step make sure it's connected to at least one [trigger](//help.encharge.io/category/170-triggers).

Finally, activate your flow. Any people that enter this step will be automatically tagged with the tag(s) you've selected.
