# Action - Archive Person

This action automatically archives a person when they enter the step. To learn how to archive people manually please [read this article](//help.encharge.io/article/85-archive-people).

The step doesn't require any setup. Simply connect it to at least one trigger and activate your Flow.

An example use case is if you want to archive people that have unsubscribed from your Mailchimp account. To do that connect the New Mailchimp Unsubscriber trigger to the Archive Person action.

# What happens with Archived people?

* Archived people will not show in your account.
* Archived people can't enter flows or receive emails.
* Archived people would not count toward the total number of people in your account and would not go towards your plan limits.
* Archived people can only be restored manually by our team. If you'd like to unarchive people in your account, please contact us.
