# Action - Remove Tag

This action removes a [tag](//help.encharge.io/article/96-tags) or tags from a person.

To set up the step, select one or multiple tags from the searchable dropdown:

To remove a tag from the selection, simply click on the X next to the tag.

Once you're done click on Save.

To use this action, make sure you have at least one [trigger](//help.encharge.io/category/170-triggers) connected to it.

Finally, activate the Flow. Any people that enter this step will be un-tagged with the selected tags. If a person doesn't have the tag, nothing will happen for them.
