Encharge requires that you verify your email address or email in order to send emails. You can send emails from multiple email addresses as long as you verify each one of them.

Verify your email address

Upon signing up for Encharge, you will receive a verification email from [email protected] with the subject line: "Action Required: Verify your email to use Encharge". If you're not seeing this email, please check your Promotions tab and your Spam folder.

Click on the link in the email to verify your email address. You will be taken back to your Encharge account on the Email Settings page and your email address will show up as Verified. Note that you need to be logged in to see that page.

Now you can send emails from that email address.

Import People

To import people into your Encharge account, follow the steps below.

1. Click on the Add button and then Import Spreadsheet

2. Upload a CSV or Excel file with the people you'd like to import.

Make sure there is a header row with a descriptive name for each column.

If you're experiencing issues when importing, ensure that the date format is displayed correctly in your file. If you're importing from an Excel file, try to convert it to a CSV and ensure the dates are showing properly in the CSV file.

Also, your import file must always contain a header row (including for example "Email", "Name", etc.), otherwise, the import process could break and import anonymous people.

If the import was successful Encharge will find the headers in your table and the number of people found in the spreadsheet along with a preview of the first person.

If the data looks correct, click on Continue. Otherwise, click Clear and re-import your spreadsheet.

3. Map the fields

Next, map your spreadsheet's fields (on the left) to a corresponding Encharge field (on the right). Encharge doesn't match fields automatically, so make sure you map everything

Create a New Broadcast

Note that you need to verify your email address before you can send a broadcast.

To create a new Broadcast, go to the Broadcasts page, click on the blue plus (+) button at the bottom left, and select "Add Broadcast".

Enter the name of the Broadcast in the pop-up field and click on Confirm. Note that you can rename the Broadcast in the future.

Creating a Broadcast consists of four steps:

Audience – Selecting the audience of the Broadcast.
Email – Selecting the Email of the Broadcast.
A/B Test – A/B testing the Broadcast (optional)

4. Review – Reviewing and sending the Broadcast.

1. Audience

The first step of creating a Broadcast is to select its audience – the people that will receive the email.

You can select All People or people that are currently in one of your Segments.

Once you're done selecting your audience, click on "Continue to Email".

There are 3 options available for you to choose from. You can either create a brand new email using the Drag-and-Drop editor or the Simple editor or start off by using one of your existing emai

There are three locations in Encharge that you can create a new email from:

The Emails page.
From the Send Email Action Step in a Flow.

Think of the Emails page as the email manager of Encharge.

To create a new email click on the blue plus button at the bottom left. You will be prompted to choose between adding an email with the Drag and Drop editor or the Simple editor. Both types of emails can be used in Flows and Broadcasts.

When you're in a Flow, you can create a new email straight from the Send Email step. No need to go to the Emails page.

Create a new email when creating a Broadcast

Similarly, when you're creating a new Broadcast you get the option to create a new email. No need to go to the Emails page.

Question 6

Create a New Flow

To create your first Flow go to the Flows page and click the Add button on the bottom left:

In the drawer, you will be asked to select one of the pre-populated best-practice Flow templates or Start blank.

Select on Start blank to start with a new Flow from scratch.

If you create a new Flow while you're inside one of the folders, for convenience the Flow will be added to that folder automatically.
