What are Trigger Steps?
Trigger steps start Flows, and people enter Flows through Triggers. When you're building a Flow in Encharge, you always must start with a Trigger step. Trigger steps have the bull's eye icon: Entering a trigger steFew readersTrigger - Time Trigger
The Time Trigger adds people in a Segment to a Flow at a particular date and time. For instance, you can send an email to your engaged subscribers at 2 PM on Monday. To set up the Time Trigger step: Select the Segment you'd like to add people from. The time you'd like it to trigger. You can use natural language like "tomorrow at 2 PM" or the calendar/time view. The Entered Segment trigger adds people in a segment to a Flow. To set up the step first select the Segment you'd like to add people from. Note that Segments are shown in alphabetical order: Then decide which people you'd like to include: **People who enter this sFew readersTrigger - Left Segment
This trigger adds people to a Flow when they leave a specific Segment. Note that this trigger only works when people leave the Segment in the future (i.e., after activating the Flow), and not for people that have left the Segment in the past. To set up the step simply select the Segment. Note that Segments are shown in alphabetical order:  and does not work for people that already have the tag. People can enter the trigger multiple times. The Tag Removed trigger will add people to a flow when they get un-tagged with a specific tag. Note that: The trigger only works for people that get un-tagged in the future (i.e., after the flow is activated) and does not work for people that already have been un-tagged. The Event trigger allows you to start a Flow when an event is triggered in your product (web or mobile app) – i.e. when someone performs an action in your product. For instance, when a person signs up for your app, you can send them a welcome email. Note that: The Event trigger will not work with events from Segment.com. The Segment Event trigger allows you to start a Flow when an event is triggered in Segment.com. For instance, when a person signs up for your app, you can send them a welcome email. Receive Webhook trigger allows you to receive data from other apps into Encharge. For example, you can send leads from Swipe Pages to Encharge through the Receive Webhook trigger. Whenever you get a lead in Swipe Pages, they will be added to the Flow in Encharge. How Receive Webhook works? The Page Visited trigger adds a person to a Flow every time they visit a page that meets your conditions. For this trigger to work, you must have the Website Tracking Code installed on your website. This trigger will add people to a Flow when a new subscriber is added to an audience in Mailchimp. The New Mailchimp Subscriber trigger is especially useful if you're using Mailchimp forms and landing pages to collect contacts. This trigger will add new Intercom leads to a Flow in Encharge. Intercom defines leads as a person who hasn’t yet signed up for your product (or sometimes, a user who’s not logged in). If someone starts a conversation with you in Intercom Messenger, they are automatically saved as a lead. You can also import leads via CSV. This trigger will add a user or a lead to a Flow in Encharge when they are tagged in Intercom. In Intercom, tags let you group your users together, manually. This trigger adds any new HubSpot contacts to a Flow in Encharge. Connecting HubSpot Before you can use this trigger you need to connect your HubSpot account to Encharge. To do that go to your apps, select HubSpot, click on Connect and log inто your HubSpot account. Finally, authorize Encharge. This trigger adds people to a Flow when a new or updated contact in HubSpot matches your condition. Connecting HubSpot Before you can use this trigger you need to connect your HubSpot account to Encharge. This trigger adds a contact associated with a HubSpot deal to a Flow in Encharge if the deal stage matches your condition. Note that: Both newly created and existing deals will trigger this step if their stage changes to match your condition. A deal should have an associated contact. You can add a contact to a deal in HubSpot from here: . Note that this trigger is different from Tracked Form Submitted and External Form Submitted.  to a new value specified by you. The step works both with default fields and custom fields. For example, you can change the custom field "Lead type" to "High value" when a person enters a segment of Active subscribers. To do that connect Entered Segment trigger step to Change Field action step.  it's best to use the A/B test feature in Broadcasts (coming soon).
