Trigger - Tagged in Intercom

This trigger will add a user or a lead to a Flow in Encharge when they are tagged in Intercom.

In Intercom, tags let you group your users together, manually. They’re great for highlighting VIP customers who may require VIP support or loyal customers who would make great beta testers, for example.  Learn more about Intercom tags.


Connecting Intercom

Before you can use this trigger you need to connect your Intercom account to Encharge. To do that go to your apps, select Intercom, click on Connect and log inто your Intercom account. Finally, authorize Encharge.

Note that you can currently have just one Intercom account connected to Encharge.

Alternatively, you can connect Intercom directly from the New Intercom User step. 


How to set up Tagged in Intercom trigger?

To set up this step select the Intercom tag and click Save.

Then, simply connect it to an action step or a filter step connected to an action.


Common questions

Will this trigger automatically import existing users with that tag from Intercom?

No. This trigger will only add Intercom users that get tagged after your Flow is activated.

How to map Intercom fields?

To map fields from Intercom go to your apps page, click on Intercom, and then select the Map Fields tab. Note that for the Intercom integration you only need to map your fields once – any Intercom-related steps in the Flow builder will use that mapping.
