What are Person Fields?
Person fields in Encharge are the attributes or properties of each person in your account. For example, their email address, company, or City. There are two types of person fields: Default fields – Each Encharge accounts comes with a set of pre-defined person fields. You can duplicate default fields, but you can't delete them. The "Last Activity" field in Encharge is a powerful way to know when was the last time when a person engaged with your company. Based on "Last Activity" you can create segments to reach out to people and keep your brand on top of mind. Below is a list of some of the events that will change the "Last Activity" date. There are a lot of IDs in Encharge, so this might seem overwhelming at first. Fear not! We'll explain each one below. Id Every person in Encharge has an Id. It's impossible for a person to exist in your account without an Id. t's an unique automatically generated user identifier. Both anonymous and identified people have it, and it's essentially used to identify people in Encharge, even when they are anonymous. In Encharge there are a number of default people fields that can not be edited. You can't edit, map, or change these fields in the platform. Note that, however, you can still update these fields through the API. These fields are automatically populated/updated by the platform (like Id) or the website tracking if installed (like Referrer, Landing page, Device Type, etc.) The following fields are non-editable: Id Date created Updated At Last activity Encharge Anonymous ID Segment.coFew readers

Import People
To import people into your Encharge account, follow the steps below. 1. Click on the Add button and then Import Spreadsheet 2. Upload a CSV or Excel file with the people you'd like to import. Make sure there is a header row with a descriptive name for each column. We use the "person" definition for any people in your Encharge account. This could be: A blog subscriber – someone who has subscribed to your blog or downloaded a lead magnet. A sales lead – someone brought in Encharge through your CRM or scheduling software. If you'd like to import tags from another email provider like Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign, you can do so by mapping the tags column in the CSV/Excel file to the Tags field in Encharge. If a person has more than one tag, the tags have to comma separate like in the example below. In Encharge you can archive people to keep your account clean from unwanted contacts and reduce the total number of people in your account. Archived people don't count toward your account limit. Tags allow you to identify people based on your own custom preferences. For instance, you can tag all people that have created a task in your product with has-created-task. This depends on a couple of things: The trigger(s) of the Flows. The time of the import – do you import people before or after the Flow is activated. The most common triggers that would get Imported people into a Flow are the Entered Segment Trigger Step and the Tag Added Trigger Step. What are Segments?
Segments in Encharge are groups of people that share common criteria. For instance, "All people from the US that have visited the Pricing page". People enter and leave segments dynamically based on changes in their attributes or the actions they perform. For instance, if a person submits a form and indicates they live in the United States, and also visits the Pricing page. That person will be automatically added to the segment. Each person in Encharge has their profile. To access a person's profile click on their entry on the People's page. The person's profile has two main sections: The left sidebar includes the data of the person: their image (taken from Gravatar), tags, and person fields (both default and custom fields). To add a single person to Encharge go to your People's page. Click on the blue plus sign at the bottom left, and select "Add person" You will be taken to the person's fields. Add their data fields and click Save, the person will be added to your account. Note that if you leave the Email field empty, the person will be created as an anonymous pFew readersDelete Person
You can remove a person by going to their user profile and clicking the Delete button in the top left. This action will remove all data associated with that person including any attributes and activity across your emails, website, forms, as well as any metrics generated by this person. Deleting a person is irreversible and deleted contacts can not be restored. However, they can still re-enter your account through import or other mediums.
