In this article, we'll share some of the commonly asked questions about our HubSpot integration.
Is my entire Encharge data synced to HubSpot?
During the initial sync, we won't sync any Encharge data to HubSpot. Only after the initial sync we start to sync data from Encharge to HubSpot. Which data we sync depends on whether you have selected "All contacts" or a specific HubSpot list to sync. You can learn more in our HubSpot syncing article.
What happens to existing Encharge people after the initial sync?
Nothing, you need to export them and import them into HubSpot manually.
How often is data synced?
We check both systems for new contacts/companies and updates to existing ones every 5 minutes or less.
When do we sync people changes to HubSpot?
Whenever there's a change in the data of the fields in Encharge.
Can we sync companies from Encharge to HubSpot?
No, companies can only be created from HubSpot in Encharge. In other words, if the company doesn't exist in HubSpot initially, Encharge can not create it in HubSpot.
Can I sync just a part of my contacts in HubSpot?
Yes, if you organize them in a HubSpot list. Then, during connection setup, you can sync that list only and all associated companies with the contacts in the list.
Can all HubSpot properties be synced to Encharge?
You can sync all HubSpot properties to Encharge fields. However, HubSpot does not allow us to sync all fields from Encharge to HubSpot. Certain fields are only "Read only" in HubSpot, which means that Encharge doesn't have permission to write data. We have compiled a list of these fields here. The workaround in those cases is to create a custom property in HubSpot and sync the field from Encharge.
