Trigger - Recurring Time Trigger

The Recurring Time Trigger adds a Segment of people to a Flow on a periodic basis. For instance, you can send an email to your engaged subscribers at 10 AM on the first Monday of each Month.

Set up step

A couple of notes to consider:

  • The Recurring Time Trigger can only start a Flow in the timezone of your Account.
  • The trigger works based on the first available date from the current time. For example: Let's say you active your flow on the 7th of April. If you pick the 5th of each month as your trigger, the step will trigger on the 5th of May. However, if you pick the 15th of each Month, the trigger will be on the 15th of April.

1. Select the Segment you'd like to add people from

You can use this step by triggering the flow to All people or to a specific segment. Click here to learn how to create a new Segment.

2. Set the Schedule

You can choose between:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Annually
  • or a Custom schedule.

Let's review each one

Daily - Choose the Time of day on which the step will trigger.

Weekly - Select which day of the week you want to trigger the flow. You can select one specific day or multiple days.

Monthly - Trigger the step on a specific day of the month. You can select one specific day, such as the First Monday of the month, the Last day of the month, or multiple dates.

Annually - Allows you to select Month of the year and the date of the Month. You can have multiple or singular selections for both options.

Custom Schedule - Create more arbitrary schedules. You can customize a repeating cycle for days/weeks/months. The custom cycles allow you to select only one Day of the week or Day of the month options.
